Greg Hanthorn, Jr.: Associate Technical Director
I graduated from the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts (CCCEPA) at Pebblebrook High School as a Technical Theater Major and Drama Minor in 2004 and went on to study at Berry College winning the 2006-07 department award for best student design of the season.
In 2008 I received the Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award for Lighting Design for Night Travels with the Essential Theatre where I worked as the festival lighting designer for the 2006 & 2007 PowerPlays festivals.
I have also worked as a technician for Spoleto Festival USA in 2005 and the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in 2006. I returned to CCCEPA as interim Technical Director in 2005 & 2007 and as a guest designer in 2008.
Tavern design credits: Anne of the Thousand Days, Midsummer (2011), Complete Works (2011), Love’s Labour’s Lost (2011), Anthony & Cleopatra (2014), Pericles (2014), Cymbeline (2015), Winter’s Tale (2015), Tempest (2015), R&J (2016), Henry VI Parts I, II, & III (2016), Macbeth (2016).
I am a member of the United States Institute of Theater Technology.
